Community Money Advice Newland is a partnership ministry of the church and St John Newland providing free, confidential money advice.  It is based at the Community Church Centre.

A future knowing that someone cares. This is achieved through a team of volunteer debt advisors and befrienders.  They work with clients to produce a full assessment of the current financial situation, develop a plan to tackle it, negotiate the plan with creditors and walk alongside the client as they implement it.

The ministry works with Community Money Advice.  This is an umbrella body that helps local community groups and churches to set up debt advice centres in their local community. Community Money Advice provides literature, model policies and procedures and training in debt advice. It is also able to buy in skilled and specialist training from Wiseradviser.  This ensures that our volunteers have all the support they need to help in the most effective way.
